I am so glad you stopped by to get acquainted! I am from Colorado but for the past three months I have been housesitting in Southern California. The scenery is beautiful here. Palm trees, mountains, and, of course the ocean! I am fortunate that I can take a daily walk on the beach. There's always something - or someone - of interest to look at! I like to watch the surfers as they wait for the perfect wave, jump up on their boards and ride with the rush of white water. It's something I've never tried, nor would I want to, but I admire people who are that adventurous. Sunsets on the beach are really something to experience, too. They are spectacular!
On weekends, I head out perusing yard or estate sales looking for fixer-upper furniture or other items that would be perfect candidates for a re-do. That's what I do! I fix-up, paint-up, and sometimes completely re-make things to re-sell! It's been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Since I have been out here in California, I have discovered another even better place to spend my time - Barn Sale Events! I am hooked! I have posted some of my favorite places below.
